She was designed as a "Kitsune", a fox. Then I found out the "Tamamo no Mae", which is also a fox but has more power. A nine-tailed magical fox, she is also one of the most powerful yōkai that has ever lived. Funny thing is... I was thinking this woman could be one of the threats to the country. Like... she wants to be the emperor. And that is exactly what "Tamamo no Mae" did in the folklore!
Plus, there is a secret between the geisha and the little Ohara women (villager).
