They are both "Nekomata", the forked cat, another monster from folklore. "Nekomata" has two tails. Actually, they came from China. The Dragon Li. In the story, people believe that there is just one ninja who could be two places at once. Apparently, these twin sisters have their own tricks. There is a particular bond between the Geisha and these two. 
The older sister is a long-hair cat, the younger one has short hair.
